Empowering Young Women: The Impact of Girls Inc. in New Hampshire
I had the pleasure of attending the Champions for Girls breakfast, celebrating 50 years of Girls, Inc. In the heart of New Hampshire, a remarkable organization is making a profound difference in the lives of young girls.
Girls Inc. of New Hampshire serves as a beacon of hope and empowerment, serving over 700 girls from 21 different schools. Through its comprehensive programs and unwavering dedication, Girls Inc. is transforming the futures of these young women, equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in all aspects of life.
Smart. Strong. Bold. A perfect motto! From academic support to health education, Girls Inc. provides a safe and nurturing environment where girls can explore their potential and develop into confident, self-reliant individuals.
It was inspiring hearing Sharron McCarthy, the CEO, as well as Board Member, Dallas Lagerquist speak about the program. Hearing from the girls themselves, ranging from 9 years old through college graduates moved me to tears. Cheers to empowering these young women to reach their full potential!
