Exploring the Path to a Career in Real Estate

Inspiring the Next Generation of Women Leaders

Last week, we were proud to host a table at the Career Fair at Saint Anselm College for Girls Inc. of New Hampshire’s Young Women in Leadership (YWL) program.

YWL is an eight-week summer leadership camp for rising 7th–9th grade girls, designed to build confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of community impact. It’s not a typical summer camp. Throughout the program, campers explore career pathways, develop leadership skills, and connect with professionals from a variety of industries.

The Career Fair was an incredible opportunity for the girls to learn firsthand about different careers, practice networking and professional skills through mock interviews, and gain insight into the education, licensing, and experiences that can lead to different career paths.

At our table, we created a career map showing the different journeys to becoming a Realtor, including education and licensing requirements, potential earning opportunities, and “day in the life” examples. We wanted to show the girls that there isn’t just one path to a fulfilling career in real estate—and that there are many ways to build a career that fits your strengths and interests.

We met so many wonderful young women and were genuinely impressed by their thoughtful questions, confidence, curiosity, and professionalism. Their enthusiasm made it clear that these girls are already thinking seriously about the futures they want to create.

We’re grateful to Girls Inc. of New Hampshire and Saint Anselm College for creating opportunities like this that help young women build confidence, envision their futures, and see what’s possible. We were so proud to be a small part of their journey!
